Good question, and we’ve got a compelling answer for you. The unfortunate facts are that last year there were 872 new reports of child abuse per day. No one believes that all case are reported and there’s not a postcode in Australia where this doesn’t happen! Even in adult life, children who have suffered abuse are 4 times more likely to commit suicide.

For 20 years, the Australian Childhood Foundation have tirelessly worked to put a stop to child abuse and give children a life free of violence and trauma. They have implemented world leading and recognised programs that counsel and support children to recovery,  help professionals work with children to better support at-risk children, raise the awareness of the causes and consequences of abuse and what we can do as a community to prevent abuse, and offer resources to help parents raise healthy and confident children.
